Hollywood star Bella Thorne has been sharing videos and pictures of her dark skin and hair a lot these days and does not mind in flaunting it at all. As Bella shares a Cuban heritage from her father, the actress has struggled a lot in order to fit in like a half Latina with blonde hair and fair skin. While many women in the world are going crazy about fair skin, Bella Thorne recently accepted that she darkened her skin and hair to feel closer to her heritage and be accepted for who she really is.

On Instagram, Bella Thorne shared a video flaunting her tanned skin and a new hairdo. Sharing the video, she wrote, “Honestly I wish I looked more Latin so I could feel more Latin so I could feel closer to my father and be prouder of my heritage...to wear my heritage on my skin. it’s just hard sometimes when no one thinks u are who u are...and everyone wants u to be something else,” admitting that she darkened her skin and hair on purpose. Bella who shares a Cuban heritage with her father Delancey Reinaldo "Rey" Thorne, mentioned how she wished to look more Latin, so she could feel closer to her father. Talking about wanting to be proud of her heritage, Thorne accepted she decided to wear it on her skin, and shared her struggle further. Later, talking about being Cuban/ Latin, the 22-year-old added, “Being Cuban/Latin in most people’s eyes means having dark eyes, dark hair, and dark skin, I’m naturally blonde I have hazel brown eyes and I try not to go in the sun because skin cancer runs in my family I put an effect on this video, and looking at it I like me looking tan with darker hair.” Speaking about how being Cuban according to people is having dark eyes, dark hair, and dark skin, Thorne explained how she put an effect on the video and looking at her having a tan skin with darker hair, she loves it, even after not going out in the sun due to skin cancer hereditary in the family.


Meanwhile, Bella Thorne shared that she loves her Cuban Heritage and concluded her explanation writing, “I LOVE MY CUBAN HERITAGE.” Clearly, there’s no doubt Bella has been struggling trying to flaunt her Cuban heritage, and we love the tan skin and dark hair, but also love the blonde hair and white skin Latina.
